Update on Covid-19 and services at NH

Dear NH family,

We want to make you aware of our services for this Sunday, March 15. As we monitor the current situation with Coronavirus. We will continue to gather for our One2One Sunday School Classes and Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Childcare will still be available for birth–3 years old as well as our Children’s Church Worship for now.

The Southern Baptist Convention is calling for a special day of prayer this Sunday to specifically pray for our nation and the effects of the Coronavirus as well as our President of the United States. We will have a special time of prayer in our service asking the Lord to intervene in this national and international crisis.

If you or others in your family are sick or if you’re in a high risk category, we urge you to stay at home and worship with us online at www.nhbcfamily.com or www.livestream.com/nhbcfamily. Whether you choose to worship with us in person or online, let’s lift our hearts together unto the Lord. If you would like a DVD copy of the services, because you don't have or do the internet services, please call the church at 205-647-0786 and let us know. We will have those delivered to you on Monday.

DO NOT FEAR! Trust in our Lord during these times and take the sensible precautions to fight off the spreading of any sickness or virus. Remember, that our hope and trust is in Christ alone.

I love you all and thank you,

Pastor Steve

WHAT’S BEING DONE AT NH:

  • The NH Housekeeping staff has a detailed and thorough process in place to clean every area of the building after each use and has doubled these efforts to take extra precaution.

  • Thanks to a sister church, we were allowed to use a misting sanitization machine. Our whole church was thoroughly cleansed on Friday and is ready for us this Sunday.

  • Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the church for your convenience.

  • Beginning this Sunday, we will not pass an offering plate but instead will collect the offering at the end of the Worship Service as you exit.

WHAT WE CAN ALL DO:

  • Wash your hands frequently, and for at least 20 seconds, with soap and hot water to protect yourself and others from germs.

  • If you or a family member is sick or needs to stay home on Sunday, we encourage you to watch and participate in our Worship Services online.
