From Profession to Possession

Romans 10:1-4
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Thoughts:
Paul's words about his fellow Israelites having "zeal without knowledge" echo the story of Nicodemus. It's possible to be deeply religious yet miss the essence of true faith. Today, examine your own heart. Is your faith based on a genuine relationship with Christ, or is it merely an outward profession?

Prayer:
Pray for God to deepen your understanding of His righteousness and help you submit fully to Him, moving beyond mere religious fervor to a living, transformative faith.
