Living Sacrifices
Romans 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Thoughts:
As we've reflected on sacrifices made by soldiers this week and ultimately focused on the sacrifice made by Christ, we're called to present our own lives as "living sacrifices." This means dedicating every aspect of our lives to God's service. What areas of your life are you holding back from God? How can you renew your mind today to align more closely with God's will?
Prayer:
Consider making a specific commitment to God, offering an area of your life as a living sacrifice in response to His great love.
