Living as God's Masterpiece
Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Thoughts:
What a thought! Living with His identity as God's masterpiece, and now created for good works. This reminds us that our salvation isn't just about escaping judgment, but about fulfilling God's beautiful purpose for our lives.
Think about your unique gifts, experiences, and desires. How might God want to use these for His glory? Remember, you're not saved by good works, but you're saved for good works.
Today, look for opportunities to be God's masterpiece in action. It might be through an act of kindness, using the gifts He's given you to help someone, or simply being a listening ear. As you do, remember that you're not working for God's approval, but from a place of already being approved and loved.
Prayer:
Ask God to help you see yourself as His masterpiece and to reveal the good works He has prepared for you to walk in. Let this perspective transform how you approach your day, your relationships, and your challenges.
