Secure in Christ

John 10:27-30
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.

Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thoughts:
We conclude our week by focusing on the security we have in Christ. The sermon this Sunday emphasized the words "we have" in Ephesians 1:7, teaching us about a present, secure possession of these spiritual blessings.

Jesus assures us that no one can snatch us out of His hand or the Father's hand. Paul boldly declares that nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love in Christ. This is not a hope or a wish, but a present reality for believers.

How would your life be different if you truly lived in the confidence of this security? Consider areas where fear, doubt, or insecurity hold you back. Remember, in Christ, you have an unshakeable position as God's beloved child.

Prayer:
Today, write down this truth: "I am secure in Christ's love." Place it somewhere you'll see often. When faced with challenges or doubts, remind yourself of this unchanging reality. Let the assurance of your position in Christ encourage you to live courageously for Him.
