No More Distance

Ephesians 2:11-13
11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Thoughts
In today's reading, Paul reminds us of a profound truth: there was once a time when we were far from God, but through Christ, we have been brought near. Reflect on your own spiritual journey. Can you remember a time when you felt distant from God? Perhaps you felt unworthy, rejected, and lost. But just as Paul declares, "But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ" (v.13).

This miraculous closing of the gap between us and God wasn't achieved through our own efforts, but through Christ's sacrifice.

Prayer:
Today, take a moment to thank God for His incredible love that bridged the divide. Consider how this truth changes your perspective on your relationship with God and others around you.
