Stewards of Grace

1 Peter 4:7-11
7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Thoughts:
God has entrusted you with a dispensation, which is a stewardship, of His grace. Like Paul, you've received something precious not to hoard but to share. Your understanding of John 3:16 isn't just for your benefit; it's meant to be broken down and given to your children, neighbors, and strangers. You stand on the foundation of grace, which is the unearned, unmerited favor of God toward you. This should produce profound humility, not pride. When you grasp that everything you have spiritually is a gift, you become a servant like Christ, who made Himself of no reputation. Your calling isn't to impressive credentials but faithful stewardship of the gospel message.

Prayer:
What truth has God given you that someone else desperately needs to hear? Pray and ask the Lord to help you become a great steward of His Gospel.
