Building Up the Body
Ephesians 4:12
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Thoughts:
God didn't give gifts randomly; He strategically equipped His church with apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Not for their glory, but to perfect, prepare, and promote the body of Christ. These aren't celebrity positions but servant roles designed to restore broken saints and mobilize them for ministry. Consider your church family today. Who has God placed there to equip you? Are you receiving their ministry with humility? More importantly, how are you using your gifts to build up others? A decapitated ministry, one disconnected from Christ and His framework for the church, is a monster. Stay connected! Your spiritual growth isn't isolated; it happens within the framework of the body where every joint supplies strength to the whole.
Prayer:
Pray for clarity and strength to engage fully in your role within the church. Ask God to help you encourage others in their faith journey and to work in unity with fellow believers for the growth of the body of Christ.
